They are detected by various methods including Lassaigne’s test, nitroprusside test, blue vitriol test, lead sulphide test, etc..

1. Detection of Nitrogen (নাইট্রোজেন সনাক্তকরণ/ नाइट्रोजन का पता लगाना)
2. Detection of sulphur (সালফার সনাক্তকরণ/ सल्फर का पता लगाना)
3. Detection of halogens (হ্যালোজেন সনাক্তকরণ/ हैलोजन का पता लगाना)
4. Detection of phosphorous (ফসফরাস সনাক্তকরণ/ फॉस्फोरस का पता लगाना)
